Electricial conduit has now been installed. This is required now because the pipes will be buried underneath the stonwork.  Non shrinking grout has been poured adding strength and stability to the arch bases. 
The picture in the mirror is a reminder to motorists to glance at their rear view mirrors as they pass under the arch as the lettering on the arch will read correctly.
