Today the contractor installed the time capsule in the south arch base. At the powder coating shop the south section of the arch is finished and the north section is hot out of the oven. The color is complicated, a mixture of bronze and black with a somewhat matte finish. The central section of the arch was being placed in the oven for a pre-bake process to drive out any traces of oil from the fabrication process. The oven barely accommodates the length of the arch with only an inch to spare.
